After having seen half a dozen pulled off, I've seen the crap that's accumulated on the INSIDE of the filter area, not caught on the outside of it! Once it's in there, there's no telling what else has gone through it. I think it was Greg who showed me the first one and how bad it was...ugh. You can also use logic in that the hole sizes on the Blitz are MUCH bigger than the K&N. This also means the airflow is better and explains the power increase...but at a price.
